The Paper of the People project was started by Malawian Artist Jefferson Gulo at Cape Maclear. He started recycling Chibuku maize beer empty cartons into attractive art, The aim of the project is to promote the recycling of waste papers, plastic bags and organic waste in Cape Maclear as well as other areas of Malawi. The project is passionate about the importance and necessity of recycling and its impact is to promote recycling in the community through education awareness. The project is passionate about what they do, producing fantastic products that are attractive and are reducing waste and helping the environment.
