Boom, first legal public art space in Scotland to be featured on Wallspot. Opening the space up to an online community of artists and photographers. Starting out in Barcelona, this project opened up “Murs Lliures” or free walls in the city for artists to create and now moved global, Mexico, Bolivia, Philippines, Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain and hopefully soon to be Malawi. Watch this space….
Shout outs to Freshpaint for bringing the concept forward, to Sunnybank Park, for being fully supportive, and to UV Arts CIC for donating paints for artists to create. All round superstars always. Huge shout outs to the artists for never giving up, never giving in and always creating and to K for helping prepare the waterlogged space for artists. 10 trips of rubble in a wheelbarrow during Ramadan.
